Mitt Romney Makes it Official

He has officially pronounced his wingnuttiness:

"Her going to a state which is without question a sponsor of terror, and having her picture taken with (Bashar) Assad and being seen in a headscarf and so forth is sending the wrong signal to the people of Syria and to the people of the Middle East," the former Massachusetts governor said while campaigning in Johnston, a Des Moines suburb.

"It's a very bad idea to be carrying out a separate and independent foreign policy from the president of the United States," Romney added. "I just don't know what got into her head, to be completely honest with you. I think it was a huge, huge mistake."

But what about this!

There's a big difference. Laura Bush was never a member of the government - she wasn't there for the same reasons, and she wasn't doing anything irresponsible. It is not Pelosis place to dictate foreign policy. She is trying to take away the power that only the president is entitled to as commander-in-chief under the constitution. It sends the wrong message for Pelosi to do what she is doing. She even tried to make it look like Israel was ready for peace talks. Because of her BS Israel was forced to clarify to the world that they would only be ready for peace talks under certain conditions, which aren't anywhere near being met. Pelosi is just disgusting, and is only in it for herself. She only cares about her ego and getting power.

You might want to rethink your position.
Laura Bush, as First Lady, is certainly a member of the goverment. And as such is an ambassador for the United States.

Pelosi is 3rd in line from the president and certainly has the power to make such a trip.

"Pelosi is just disgusting, and is only in it for herself. She only cares about her ego and getting power."

Oops, you tipped your hand right there.

How do you feel about the three Republican senators that went to Syria? Is that ok? If so why?

Are you in that 27-30% that still support Bush?

Did you create a profile just to slap a comment here or elsewhere and then delete it?

Is hit and run a new debate tactic? What's wrong? Don't have the will to stay and fight? I thought cut and run was a Democrat thing....

Go for it R.J. I suspect that there are yokels like this whose only goal in life is piss us off. I'm incredibly impressed with Pelosi and wish she would run for President. But, I forgot, she's sane. Wouldn't fit the Newt, Mitt, Rudy mold.
