Happy Birthday!

About Tony Auth: Jules Feiffer has described Tony Auth best, "His perspective is that of a bemused and often angry comic historian. Irony, never a favorite form with Americans, is his meat and potatoes. He is not smug, and though he can be mean, he is never mean-spirited. Auth is a moralist and an optimist. He insists, even in this day and age, that hope is more than the name of a right-wing comedian or the shtick of a reactionary president."

But hey, at least none of these young kids will have to worry about gay marriage. ,

Yeah, who cares if they die. Who cares if they go off to a foreign land and kill their people, their mothers and fathers, their little children.

Who cares if we turn them out homeless, burn their houses and destroy their fields.

Who cares how many of our young people are lost in Iraq, now and in the future.

As long as we can keep Peter and John from being married, or Sue and Lisa, then who cares that the world is destroyed.

Anonymous, would you care to answer any of those questions?

Before you do, I would like to direct you to this post.

After you check that out, tell me more about your god of love and how you use that god to deny love from people you don't understand and/or are different from you. (remember, your god created everything, including the people that you wish to control, kill and/or discriminate against)

You might want to add in how to reconcile your god of love with war as well. You know, how one could be anti-abortion but pro-war, all in the name of beliefs. (just taking a guess that you are anti-choice, most people that are afraid of gay marriage are also anti-choice, go figure) Surely you understand that in war, many innocents die, including that fetus that the god-fearing hold so dear. In advocating war, do you realize that you are advocating death, killing, and abortion?

Really, how do you reconcile the 2300+ American deaths, the untold innocent Iraqi's that have died (estimates: 25 to 100 thousand), the number of coalition forces that have perished, and the number of future generations of Middle Easterners that will pledge to destroy this country for killing their innocent fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters?

And this was all for what exactly?

I eagerly await your reply.

If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand.

Anon,

That is what is known as a "non-reply", a cop-out, a cut and run.

You cannot answer the questions or defend your position. You have no answer because the answer you wish to give is not founded in reality or truth.

To you this is a game. Your hatred and bigotry towards your fellow man is rooted in your religion.

May your god have mercy on your pathetic soul.
